A specialized therapy designed to increase oxygen delivery and support healing, recovery and tissue health.
Oxygen plays an essential role in the body’s ability to function, repair and recover. When tissue is injured or blood flow is compromised, the body's demand for oxygen can increase.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) provides a controlled environment in which you breathe oxygen while inside a pressurized chamber. The increased pressure allows the blood to carry more oxygen, helping deliver it to tissues throughout the body.
At Concierge Wellness Care, HBOT can be incorporated into a personalized wellness or recovery plan based on your individual needs and health goals.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
is a medical treatment where you breathe pure oxygen inside a pressurized chamber. The air pressure is two to three times higher than normal. This forces extra oxygen into your blood and tissues to heal wounds, fight infections, and grow new blood vessels. Chronic pain management: Clinical trials demonstrate that acupuncture, chiropractic spinal manipulation, and yoga significantly alleviate lower back pain, migraines, and osteoarthritis symptoms.Stress and anxiety reduction: Practices like mindfulness meditation alter neurological pathways to lower cortisol, reduce anxiety, and improve severe sleep disturbances.Targeted inflammation control: Specific botanical agents like turmeric (curcumin) and ginger possess robust, clinically validated anti-inflammatory properties.Cancer symptom support: Integrative therapies such as oncology massage and tai chi alleviate chemotherapy-induced nausea and combat profound post-treatment fatigue.

How HBOT Works
During a hyperbaric session, increased atmospheric pressure allows additional oxygen to dissolve into the blood plasma. This increases the amount of oxygen available to tissues beyond what is possible under normal atmospheric conditions.
That increased oxygen availability can support several important physiological processes involved in healing and recovery, including tissue repair and the formation of new blood vessels.
Supporting Your Body's Ability to Recover
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy has established medical applications for specific conditions and may also be considered as part of an individualized care plan when additional recovery support is appropriate.
Depending on your health history and needs, your provider can help determine whether HBOT may have a role in your care.
Wound + Tissue Healing
Increased oxygen delivery can support the body's natural wound-healing processes and is used medically for certain difficult-to-heal wounds and compromised tissues.
Recovery + Tissue Support
Oxygen is essential to cellular repair. Increasing oxygen availability may support tissue recovery when incorporated appropriately into a broader treatment plan.
Circulation + Blood Vessel Formation
HBOT can support processes involved in angiogenesis—the formation of new blood vessels—which plays an important role in healing certain damaged or oxygen-deprived tissues.
Certain Medical Conditions
HBOT is an established treatment for specific conditions including decompression sickness, carbon monoxide poisoning, certain non-healing wounds, radiation tissue injury and other recognized indications. Whether HBOT is appropriate depends on the individual condition and should be determined by a qualified healthcare professional.
